German Brown by Walker Tape has been a standard in the hair replacement industry for many years. It’s generally used with a hard bond adhesive for permanent attachments. German Brown is applied directly to the hair system and attaches more firmly to the hard bond adhesive than other types of tape. Generally, when a hard bond adhesive fails, it is due to the tape it is attached to. With German Brown, you don’t have to worry about the hard bond disconnecting from the tape. Use with a poly system or a lace system with a poly strip where the adhesive will sit.

Hold:

Extended Wear (1-2 weeks) tapes are great for people who need something more than just for day to day wear, but who are not looking for a very long-term hold. This is a popular type of tape because many people re-apply their units in under 2 weeks.

Product Details:

Super Stick is known for its high initial tack when placing the unit. It holds strong but removes easily with little residue. It works best with Poly units as it does have some shine. This is a stiff tape, making it easier to work with. The liner is white but the actual tape is clear.

No-Shine is a leader in maximum wear. It has a very dull finish and is virtually invisible through the unit. It’s made with urethane which makes it very flexible with the skin. We offer this tape in 1.5″ width rolls so it’s perfect for full-coverage jobs. It’s also easy to clean and doesn’t break down as much as other tapes during removal. It’s great for use with any unit. The liner is white but the actual tape is clear.

Maximum wear (2-4+ weeks) tapes are the longest lasting tapes we make. Depending on temperature, humidity, and body oils, they can last up to six weeks. Because they’re usually the most tacky, they require more skill to apply.
